Patriotic Garden Flags and Decorative Banners

Our garden flag selection runs year-round, but our 4th of july decorative flags go fast in June. These are 12x18 inch flags that fit standard garden flag stands. Evergreen and Studio-M print them on weather-resistant fabric with fireworks, stars, stripes, and birthday messages. They're double-sided, so the image reads correctly from both directions.

We also stock vertical banners and pennants for porch railings and mailbox posts. These come in solid color bunting or printed designs. They ship flat, not folded, so there are no crease lines when you hang them.

What Sizes and Styles Are Available?

Standard outdoor American flag sizes are 3x5 feet for most residential flagpoles and 4x6 feet for taller poles. Garden flags are 12x18 inches. Banners range from 28 to 48 inches depending on the design. If you're replacing an old flag, match the size you had before. If you're buying your first flag, a 3x5 works for poles up to 20 feet tall.

You can choose between sewn nylon flags with embroidered stars or printed polyester flags with full-color graphics. Sewn flags last longer outdoors. Printed flags cost less and work fine for seasonal display. Both ship free with no minimum order.

Indoor Display Flags and Pennants

We carry indoor American flags with pole sleeves and gold fringe for offices, classrooms, and events. These are typically 3x5 or 4x6 feet, mounted on wooden poles with brass eagles or spear finials. They're not weatherproof, so don't fly them outside. Indoor flags ship with the pole and stand included.

Pennants and small handheld flags are stocked for parades and parties. These are 4x6 inch stick flags or 12-inch felt pennants. They ship in packs of 12 or 24, depending on what you order.

How Fast Do 4th of July Flags Ship?

Most orders placed before 2 PM Central ship the same day. Orders after 2 PM ship the next business day. We don't hold orders to combine shipments or wait for stock transfers. If the item is on this page, it's in our building and ready to go. You'll get a tracking number within 24 hours of ordering.

Ground shipping from Des Moines reaches most of the Midwest in 2 days, the coasts in 3-4 days. There's no shipping charge and no minimum order. One flag or ten flags, the shipping cost is zero.

Can You Fly a 4th of July Flag Year-Round?

You can fly an American flag every day of the year. The U.S. Flag Code recommends displaying it from sunrise to sunset, or all day if it's properly illuminated at night. Decorative garden flags with fireworks or birthday themes are seasonal, but the American flag itself isn't limited to Independence Day. Most people rotate their garden flags every few weeks and keep the American flag up full-time.

If you're flying a flag on a residential pole, replace it when the fabric starts to fray or the color fades. Nylon flags last 6-12 months outdoors depending on wind and sun exposure. We stock replacements year-round.
