We stock nylon flags from Annin and Flagzone with sewn stripes and embroidered stars, as well as polyester flags for everyday display. Every flag ships free with no minimum order, and most go out the same or next day from our warehouse in Des Moines.

Outdoor Flag Kits and Flagpoles

Our complete supreme US flag home sets include a residential flagpole, a 3x5 or 4x6 nylon flag, and all mounting hardware. Kits come with aluminum spinning poles that prevent tangling, or stationary poles for wall mounting. You'll also find replacement flagpoles, bracket sets, and flag display accessories.

Residential flagpoles mount to your house, porch, or garage in under 20 minutes. The spinning pole design rotates with the wind direction, so your flag won't wrap around the pole.

Indoor American Flags

Indoor flags come with wood poles, gold spear finials, and floor stands or wall brackets. We stock 3x5 nylon indoor flags with embroidered stars and sewn stripes, plus smaller sizes for offices and classrooms. Indoor flag pole sets ship assembled and ready to display.

Nylon vs Polyester Flags

Nylon flags fly better in light wind and dry faster after rain. They're lighter weight, so they work well on smaller flagpoles or spinning poles. Polyester flags are heavier and more durable in high wind or coastal areas. Both are double-sided with sewn stripes.

We stock both materials in every standard size. Nylon is the most popular choice for residential use.

What Size Flag for Your House

A 3x5 flag works for most single-story homes and standard 6-foot poles. Two-story homes and taller poles look better with a 4x6 or 5x8 flag. If you're mounting a flag on your porch or garage, measure your pole length and use a flag that's roughly one-quarter the pole height.

Flag Display Rules

Mount your ceremonial American flag on the left side of your house as you face it from the street, or on the side most visible to passing traffic. The flag can fly 24 hours if it's lit at night. When displayed with other flags, the American flag goes on the viewer's right.

Sets are available with 3x5 or 4x6 all-weather American flags and your choice of spinning or stationary pole. These ship as one unit, not separate pieces you'll need to track down.

Embroidered Stars and Sewn Stripes

Every nylon flag we stock has embroidered stars and sewn stripes, not printed graphics. Embroidered stars are stitched through both sides of the fabric, so they're visible and durable. Sewn stripes are individual pieces of fabric stitched together, which hold up better than screen printing.

Polyester flags use the same construction. The difference is in fabric weight and how each material performs outdoors.

Banners and Decorative Flags

You'll also find patriotic house flags, garden banners, and decorative flag sets in this collection. These are smaller flags, typically 12x18 or 28x40 inches, designed for garden flag stands or porch display. They're double-sided, so the design reads correctly from both directions.
