Double-sided welcome flags show the design correctly from both sides of your yard. Single-sided flags cost less but show a mirror image on the reverse. Most outdoor flags here are made for full-season display, though we recommend bringing them in during heavy storms to extend their life.

Proper Flag Etiquette for House Display

Welcome flags don't follow the same rules as the American flag. You can fly a welcome flag 24 hours a day, in any weather, without a light. The one flag rule applies only when flying the US flag with other flags on the same pole. Your welcome flag can hang solo on a garden stake or porch bracket without any protocol concerns.

To put up a garden flag, slide the pole through the sewn sleeve at the top. For house flags on a bracket, thread the pole through both the top sleeve and any grommets if included. Make sure the flag hangs freely and doesn't rub against siding or railings.
